He played several historical figures, such as Jackie Robinson in 42 (2013), James Brown in ” Get On Up” (2014), and Thurgood Marshall in (2017). His role as the superhero in ”Black Panther” the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, including in ”Black Panther” (2018), made him an international star, winning him A NAACP Image Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Awards. Chadwick often spoke about how Denzel Washington funded the programme that sent him to acting school, alongside actress Phylicia Rashād. The star also mentions that Chadwick was a gentle soul and a brilliant artist, who will stay with us for eternity through his iconic performances over his short yet illustrious career.
