Nas And A$AP Rocky Appear In First Trailer For Netflix Drama ‘Monster’

The film is based on the 1999 book of the same name by Walter Dean Myers, will explore Harmon’s journey as he becomes “embroiled in a complex legal battle where he could face life in prison,” according to a press release for the movie. The trailer also includes appearances from Nas (who also serves as the film’s executive producer), Jennifer Hudson and Jeffrey Wright, John David Washington, and more.

Also, John Legend executive produces the film alongside Nas.

“I’m so proud to be a producer and songwriter for this beautiful film,” Legend said on Instagram. “I can’t wait for you to see Monster on @netflix May 7th.”
