Poni Capri formerly Poni is a British Recording Artist songwriter actor and from London, England. She recently released “Bon Fire Nights TV Show” which is a rendition of “The Dave Chappelle Show & “Drink Champs’ ‘. A comedy series that touches on the present state of the World in 2021. Topics from COVID-19, LGBTQ, The Storming of the Capitol, and Black Lives Matter. The fire symbolizes purifying the hurt and pain of the community. Tiara – Tell me about the role you played in the Bon Fire Nights?
Poni – I’m one of the hosts on Bon Fire Nights, and we are discussing different real-life issues in a comical way.
Tiara – What were some of the topics that was discussed on the show?
Poni Capri – The pandemic, wearing a mask, LGBTQ community, we discussed people storming the Capital with all the trump supporters and Black Lives Matter in a comical way.
Tiara – How did Covid-19 affect your career?
Poni Capri – I’m used to traveling everywhere, and now everything is at a standstill. I’m in Atlanta Ga, which I love the city, but I cannot go see and enjoy my family in England.
Tiara – What are the necessary changes you had to make to survive in the Entertainment industry?
Poni – I was traveling a lot, and doing a lot of appearances in Georgia. I had to figure out how was I gonna keep my brand going. The Pandemic gave me a lot of structure, it was good for my spirit.
Tiara – What advice would you give upcoming artist?
Poni Capri – Remember why you started, most people start for love and passion. Learn the business by networking, and promoting. I have been in the business since I was sixteen, but I’m always open to learning.
Tiara – What is next for you?
Poni Capri – My music projects will be dropping this year along with reality tv shows.
