All Her Fault: Movie Review

All Her Fault: Season 1 | Rotten Tomatoes

Do we ever truly know the people we love, and to what extent will that love extend?

In All Her Fault, the concept of love has been perverted and abused by the people we depend on to uphold its values and ideals. In this eight episode Peacock original series, we follow a mother’s journey to recover her kidnapped child, uncovering unsettling truths that shake her family’s foundation.

All Her Fault is a Thriller-Suspense tv show series. It’s based off a true-story novel written by Andrea Mara, where she recants true events she suffered in her personal life. Directed by Minkie Spiro and executive produced by Megan Gallagher, then released to the Peacock audience on November 6, 2025.

The cast blended extremely well. From Sarah Snook, who played the leading role of Marissa Irvine, to her husband, represented by Jake Lacy, to other supporting members Daniel Monks, Michael Pena, and a list of others.

A hardworking suburban based mother falls victim to homegrown insecurity. On her journey to recovering her kidnapped child she makes an unsettling discovery. What she finds out is so big it shakes the core of her family’s foundation. The show was a wake up call for many parents and It reinforced what they already knew.

I rate All Her Fault 8.9 out of 10. It was thrilling to watch, and had me glued to the edge of my seat. Even though it didn’t score a perfect ten (10), I still enjoyed it. It taught me a lot. Many of the things I and others should question while in love. Do we ever really know the people we know, and to what extent? Or whatever the price of love, can we truly afford it when there are zero witnesses?
