Who is Max B? The Return of The Silver Surfer + Hoodrich Pablo Juan! From Candler Rd to Center Stage: Unbroken

The Return of The Silver Surfer: Max B’s Triumphant Return to Hip-Hop

Harlem has always been a place defined by style, hustle, and legacy—a vibrant landscape where ambition and danger frequently dance together. From the infamous tales of Frank Lucas and Nicky Barnes to the iconic Diplomats who shook the rap world, the neighborhood breeds legends.

Among that all-star lineup, one artist always stood apart: Max B, born Charlie Wingate.

Known by many names—”The Silver Surfer,” “Max Biggaveli”—Max B possessed an unmatched versatility. He carved out a unique lane in East Coast hip-hop with a raw, melodic genius that fused gritty punchlines with smooth, illustrative harmonies. His confident presence and “wavy” sound paid homage to legends like Tupac and Biggie, while simultaneously creating something entirely new.

Crafting the Culture

Short in stature but larger than life, Max B became a cultural force. His collaborations defined an era:

  • His brotherhood with Jim Jones birthed underground anthems and classics like “Ballin,” an undeniable club hit.
  • His partnership with Bronx legend French Montana resulted in the iconic Coke Wave mixtapes, gritty, funny, and unfiltered art that further elevated both artists.

Max B was truly viral before “viral” was a word. He coined the term “wavy” to describe being cool or fly, and his signature ad-lib, “Owwww!”, became an anthem repeated by fans and artists alike. He was a natural entertainer with an instinct for connecting with the streets.

Tragedy and Timeless Influence

At the peak of his creative wave, tragedy struck. Max B was charged in a conspired robbery that turned fatal in a New Jersey hotel room. Despite his incarceration in 2009 with a shocking 75-year sentence, his influence only grew.

The streets and the industry never forgot him. Artists like Wiz Khalifa, Future, Young Thug, and Drake carry the torch of the melodic style Max B pioneered. Whether they admit it or not, the “wave” is everywhere in modern rap—Max B is to blame for paving the way for rappers to blend singing and rapping seamlessly.

The Miracle of November 2025

For years, his return was just a whisper, clouded in rumors and false hope. But in 2016, a miracle happened: Max B’s conviction was vacated, reduced to aggravated manslaughter. His sentence was cut drastically, making an impossible dream a reality.

Now, the truth is loud and clear:

Max B is coming home November 9th 2025.

Fans, old and new, are preparing for the return of The Silver Surfer. For many, it’s a dream come true. For artists who have been imitating his style for over a decade, it might be a nightmare—because Max B’s raw talent was never matched, only imitated.

The wave is still alive, and it’s coming in hot.

So grab your surfboards. Put on your shades.

Harlem’s waviest legend is back.

Owwww!

The Code Keeper Returns: Hoodrich Pablo Juan Celebrates Freedom with “Hoodrich Pablo Juan and Friends” Concert

Who Is Hoodrich Pablo Juan?

When we hear the name Pablo Juan, many of us tend to think of the notorious leader of the Colombian cartel,

Pablo Escobar, mostly known for his criminal billion-dollar cocaine operation that took the 70s and 80s by storm. Iconic visual representations of this American “dream” in pop culture remind us that the hustle can turn nothing into something.

Growing up in poverty, one of the first ideas of success for many is seeing drug dealers or rappers acquire and flaunt luxurious items. In more urban terms, we call this “Hoodrich.”

Put the two scenarios together and you have

Hoodrich Pablo Juan.

The Atlanta Trap Architect

Hoodrich Pablo Juan is an Atlanta-based trap musician who turned his experiences growing up on Candler Rd into 13 albums (and counting) for the world to enjoy. Delivering a raw, unorthodox flow followed by an influential fashion sense and style, matched with infamous Atlanta trap sounds, he’s even created his own signature rap style that has been imitated by many artists.

Hit songs like “We Don’t Luv Em,” “Zaboomafoo,” and “Boss B*tch” featuring Lil Baby sent shockwaves throughout the Atlanta streets, proving

Hoodrich Pablo Juan has the ability to musically transcend outside of his region. Creating fans in the DMV, Tri-State & New England, and even internationally as a Southern artist is an accomplishment and an indicator that the quality of his music is phenomenal.

Authenticity in an Era of Controversy

Atlanta has been in the headlines lately for prominent artists from the city being labeled “snitches” due to police interrogations and cooperation with authorities. These controversies have shifted the perspective on who is actually solid and who isn’t in the rap industry.

Hoodrich Pablo Juan proves he is authentic and is now coming home from a 5-year Georgia RICO indictment sentence with absolutely no cooperation with law enforcement. This shows that he does, in fact, respect the code of silence and is worth the fandom. His situation reminds us that you shouldn’t do the crime if you can’t do the time. Hoodrich never dropped the dime. If you are into authenticity, fashion, and hard-hitting 808s, look no further.

Having already collaborated with Migos, Young Scooter, Gunna & Young Thug early in their careers while also getting recognition from A$AP Mob and once being signed to Gucci Mane adds to the mystique and story of

Hoodrich Pablo Juan.

Welcome Home Concert in Atlanta

To celebrate his highly anticipated return, Hoodrich Pablo Juan is doing a “Welcome Home” concert in Atlanta, GA, called Hoodrich Pablo Juan and Friends.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 29th at the iCenter Stage theater. Fans eager to experience his return to the stage can find tickets and more information on the Ticketmaster website.
