Ace Redd Interview On Voice It

Tiara – Who inspired you growing up?

Ace Redd – I listened to Ludacris, Lil Wayne, and Outkast.

Tiara – who inspired you to become an artist and songwriter?

Ace Redd – It started with my homie Ayo and Keyz, they both produced the song WAP for Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B. One day Someone reached out to me and asked have I thought about writing. So I dove into the writing scene 2 years ago, and I ended up getting a placement with Mulatto, and kashdoll for Empire, and a lot more.

Tiara – Tell me about your collaboration with Hitmaka.

Ace Redd – We have a chemistry that is out of this world. As soon as we locked in, it was instant magic. He asked me to come to California, and we have been working ever since.

Tiara – what keeps you motivated?

Ace Redd – My family and money, we all need money to survive. The music has always been in me.

Tiara – What is the inspiration behind Southside?

Ace Redd – It was the vibe I was feeling, and what was going on in the Southside at the time.

Tiara – How do you balance making your own music and writing for different artists?

Ace Redd – I’m a studio junky, I record 6 to 7 songs fast, and its about producing the right sounds and getting them out to the fans.

Tiara – What advice would you give upcoming artist?

Ace Redd – you have to be consistent, I know things get tuff, but it’s important that you constantly put out good content.

Tiara – what else will you be working on soon?

Ace Redd – I will be working on music with French Montana, Lucci, Megan Thee Stallion, and much more.
