It’s Nas Day on September 23rd in Queens, New York, and it’s no ordinary day for hip hop lovers. President Donovan Richards honored the rapper with his own day in his hometown and the key to the borough of Queens on Thursday (Sept. 23). The artist recently published the sequel to his Grammy-winning King’s Disease. Richards’ office manager, Franck D. Joseph, confirmed the news through Instagram.
He wrote in his caption, “Nasir Jones is not just God’s son, but Queens’ son.” “That’s why, tonight, @drichardsqns gave him not only a proclamation but also the Key to Queens borough.”
