Ayzha Nyree – I’m from Virginia, and now I live in Los Angeles, and I’m known mostly on Tik Tok for the No Guidance remix.
Tiara – What inspired you to remix “No Guidance”?
Ayzha Nyree – I was walking through the mall one day, and I was going through some things. I started scrolling through Tik Tok trying to find something to do, and they played the instrumental with the sample and I did a freestyle, my friends posted the song to Tik Tok and the remix went viral.
Tiara – Tell me about signing to Republic Records.
Ayzha Nyree – Republic Records is an amazing record label. I let them know I want to own my music, I don’t want to be a puppet, and I am a businesswoman.
Tiara – What advice would you give upcoming artist that want to sign to a label.
Ayzha Nyree – Work, and be independent as long as you can. Don’t be quick to sign to a label just because you see money and fame. it is okay to say no, I told a lot of labels no before I signed to Republic Records.
Tiara – Tell me about your latest song ‘Noya’
Ayzha Nyree – I love to sing and rap so I incorporated both. Noya means”beauty of God,” New, Renewal, and Fresh, and I was in the process of finding a good man.
Tiara – What is next for you?
Ayzha Nyree – I have a lot of music and great content dropping soon.
