Angie Martinez "Named Keynote Speaker" For Rutgers University 2020 Commencement

Angie Martinez is known as an American radio personality, and Originally known as “The Voice of New York, rapper, and actress. She also hosted “Hot 97” with DJ Enuff where she interviewed the biggest names Mariah Carey, Tupac, Biggie, Jay Z, and more. She started broadcasting on Power 105.1 and The Beat in (July of 2014). In 2018 she traveled to Puerto Rico with some amazing students to deploy “we share solar suit cases” this inspired trip is in her documentary “Be The Light” now streaming on Tidal and some parts on Youtube. On (May 20th 2020 ) Angie Martinez will be the “Keynote Speaker” at the Newark Commencement Ceremony  at the Prudential Center in New Jersey, and receive the honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree.
