Flint Michigan Finally Gets Permanent Clean Water

It’s no secret that Flint has been suffering from a serious water crisis since water contaminated by lead was discovered in 2014. But while water drives and other initiatives have been launched in the aftermath of this crisis, it’s beautiful to see a celebrity, Jaden Smith, take a tremendous initiative. The Associated Press records that the 20-year-old’s JUST goods foundation is joining forces with First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church to deploy a mobile water filtration system—known as “The Water Box”—in Flint, MI, that will reduce lead and other potential contaminants. It was also designed by them as well. Hats off to Jaden Smith and the Church for their enormous contribution.
